We are deeply passionate about the environment and its preservation. As adventurers ourselves, our greatest joy is being out in nature, and we want the next generation to experience this joy as well. As small business owners, we are committed to bringing to market products that are good for people, and contain no chemicals or other nasties that are damaging to our environment.

Our zinc sunscreen is designed and manufactured in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Thank you for shopping local for our small business and the environment!
Natural Ingredients

Our products are made with natural and food grade ingredients. This means there are no harsh chemicals getting into our precious waters and bodies.
Circular Economy

Our tins are 100% recyclable. We ship our products in compostable bags, and all filling is recyclable & compostable.
Cruelty Free

Our zinc sunscreen is not tested on animals. Choosing to buy only cruelty-free products can make a huge impact. Voting with your dollar is ultimately what causes companies to institute change.
Preservative Free

We don’t use preservatives such as parabens in our products, as they have been linked to ecological harm. Our zinc does contain a very small (<1%) amount of natural rosemary extract to prohibit the growth of bacteria.

Sustainability is at the forefront of everything that we do at Zinc or Swim, but we know we are far from perfect. We promise to keep improving and searching for ways to make our company more sustainable.
