Water
Zinc Oxide: SPF sun protection
Coco-Caprylate/Caprate: coconut alcohol, caprylic acid, and capric acid (all naturally derived ingredients). A natural emollient (moisturiser).
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: derived from coconut oil and glycerin. A natural emollient (moisturiser).
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil: derived from almonds. Used for smoothing, softening, and moisturising properties.
Glycerin: natural compound derived from vegetable oils. Allows the skin to retain moisture and relieve dryness.
Sorbitan Olivate: an emulsifier made from sorbitol (natural sugar alcohol) and the fatty acids of olive oil. Helps water-based and oil-based ingredients stay together.
Lecithin (Soya bean derived): Allows the skin to retain moisture and relieve dryness. It also helps in the process of cell regeneration and renewal, for healthy skin.
Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate: derived from coconut and castor oils. Soothing effect on the skin.
Cera Alba, Beeswax: forms a barrier to protect the skin, and helps the water-resistance of the formula
Galactoarabinan: derived from Larch trees. Improves the uniformity and spreadability of a formulation and provides SPF enhancement.
Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate: plant-derived ingredient that helps water to mix with oil for a non-greasy formula.
Macropiper Excelsum Leaf Extract (Kawakawa): Kawakawa has been used in traditional rongoā Māori (traditional) medicine for centuries. Topically it is used to hydrate and soothe inflamed skin.
Mel (Mānuka Honey): Used as a skin moisturiser, humectant, and is antimicrobia and antibacterial
Polyhydroxystearic Acid: helps disperse the pigments of the product evenly on the skin, and reduce the whitening effect that occurs with mineral products.
Glyceryl Caprylate: derived from glycerin and plant fatty acids. A natural emollient (moisturiser).
Isostearic Acid: A liquid fatty acid created from oleic acid. Stabilises pigments and mineral particles so that the product will last longer.
Potassium Cetyl Phosphate: a potassium salt that is popular in sunscreens as it can boost SPF protection and increase the water-resistance of the formula
Sodium Chloride (Salt): Used to bind the product together.
Benzyl Alcohol: derived from fruit. Acts as a preservative in skincare formulations.
Caprylhydroxamic Acid: derived from coconut. Used to inhibit microbial growth in skin care products
